- Inventory data — room names, box names, item names, counts, notes, and photos you upload
- Usage data — basic server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security and debugging
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Authenticate your identity
- Display your inventory data back to you
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in cloud services (Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Blob Storage) with encryption at rest and in transit. Your password is stored as a one-way hash and cannot be viewed or recovered in plain text.
4. Photos
Photos you upload are stored in cloud storage and are only accessible to authenticated users with access to the relevant box or item. Photos are resized for storage efficiency but are not analyzed or shared.
5. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and is not used for tracking or advertising.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our systems.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data through the application
- Update or correct your information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
8. Third-Party Services
The Service uses Microsoft Azure for data storage and hosting. Your data is subject to Microsoft's Privacy Statement as a sub-processor.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
